Our Journey, Your Story
Welcome to Tumbled Travels. We are Craig and Liz, two adventurers from Hyrum, Utah, with a passion for finding the hidden beauty in the rugged landscapes of the United States.
For years, Craig's life was defined by the high-energy world of the infantry, politics and, the driving riffs of his band, 3 Bravo. As a retired veteran, he found a new kind of rhythm in the quiet hills of South Dakota and the red earth of Utah. What started as a way to explore the beauty of our National Parks with our family turned into a deep obsession with the art of the "find."
Every stone in our collection was hand-picked by us. We don’t buy "rough" from a catalog; we find it on hillsides, in riverbeds, and along the dusty trails of our travels. From the pink pegmatite of Keystone to the moss agates of Montana, each piece has felt the mountain air before it ever felt our tools.
While we share every mile of the journey, we bring two distinct eyes to the craft.
The Explorer Collection (by Craig): the work leans into the "Hard Rock" roots of his music: using gunmetal and dark copper to create rugged, industrial wraps that let the raw power of the stone speak for itself.
The Artisan Collection (by Liz): Liz brings a refined, artistic touch to our finds, focusing on the intricate details and elegant symmetry that turn a raw mineral into a wearable treasure.
Tumbled Travels is a multi-media gallery of our life on the road. Alongside our jewelry, you’ll find: - Landscape Paintings: Original oil and acrylic panels painted "Plein Air" (in the field) at the very spots where our stones were found. - Fine Art Photography: High-resolution snapshots from my two Canon cameras, capturing the scale and soul of the West.
